Fall Morning Routine
Hi Friends!
Is anyone else still adjusting to the time change that happened over the past weekend, and did anyone else see snow just a few days ago?!? This can only mean one thing… winter is coming.
Since I’m just overly obsessed with fall and I really want to hold onto this season as much as possible. Today I want to share with you my fall morning routine!
6:30am – wake up call!
I have been really enjoying waking up early and enjoying a peaceful morning routine. Another big thing I have been doing is not picking up my phone first thing! I am still using it for my alarm, currently searching for an alarm clock, so let me know if you have any suggestions! Instead of mindlessly scrolling through my phone, I try and just be still for a few minutes and do some deep breathing and then also have some morning cuddles with my kitty when she’s in the mood.
6:45am – stretch it out.
I try and do a little morning stretch, nothing huge just a few little stretched to loosen up a bit.
6:50am – skin care.
Next up, bathroom break! Bush teeth, skin care routine all that fun stuff!
7am – coffee time
The most important part of my morning. I love making a nice fresh pot of coffee in the morning. I use a french press and I’m obsessed. While I wait for my coffee to brew, I drink a nice big glass of water and take some vitamins.
7:15am – journal time
A new one to my routine, but I’m loving it! Just taking some time to put pen to paper, and get my thoughts down has been so beneficial for me.
7:20-7:30am (dependant on how long I end up journaling) – to-do list
This is when my working day really starts to get started. I usually get my to-do list going the day before, so I always take some time in the morning before I start to review my to-do list and make sure that everything is where it should be and nothing needs to be added.
7:40am – personal work
From around 7:40 in the morning until about 8:45 I work on my own business, whether it’s posts for the blog, my pintrest page, weekly emails I take a full hour to just sit down and focus on my business and sip away at my coffee.
8:45am – work
Now my morning routine ends and my work day begins.
A good morning routine has helped me so much! Not just with making sure I get things done but also give me some time to just be with my own thoughts!
What is your favourite part of your morning routine ?!
