Hygge Vibes – Bedroom Edition

Hey Y’all

When I was taking down my holiday decorations earlier this month I had to figure out how I now wanted to decorate my space for the rest of the months during winter.

First word that came to my mind was Hygge. I want cozy, I want comfortable, I want relaxed, so that’s the vibe I’m going with for a number, okay basically all of the spaces in my apartment and the first place I want to share with you is my bedroom.

When I think of Hygge I think of cozy blankets, greenery, candles, salt lamps, all the zen vibes.

I put an extra throw on our bed for some additional cozy while I’m in the process of knitting a bulky throw (quarantine projects am I right)

As of recent I started meditating and I wanted a space to do so. Living in 600 sq ft I had limited options, so I choose the space beside my bed. I wasn’t sure how I felt about at first because clutter, but since I meditate right before bed it actually works really well for me! And not to mention the meditation corner totally goes with the vibe!

Greenery is something I love adding to a space but given my cat is a little terror raccoon who eats literally everything, I’ve opted for fake plants at this point in time. Fake plants have come a long way and honestly there are so many places that offer a great selection. Ikea, Amazon, Home Sense, Michaels. All great options!

Above our bed has always been this space of blankness, and I kept pondering what I wanted to put there. After all the searching I ended up with a beautiful tapestry that I found on Amazon and it just brings something special to the room and I am obsessed with it!

What areas do you want to see next ?!
