Bathroom Tour
Hi Friend!
Can you believe that summer is basically over?! With all the changes and unpredictability of this year it still seems to be flying by.
I have been busy with some fun projects that I can’t wait to share with you all. I hope to be able to post about it closer to the end of October. In the mean time I wanted to share with you how I have decorated my bathroom and include some tips on storage when you are sharing one bathroom!
Our bathroom has no windows in it because #condoliving so I wanted to make sure that I kept everything very light. I was happy that the walls are already a light colour, I would prefer crisp white walls, but since we are in a rental and we’re unsure how long we will actually be here I don’t want to go through the whole painting thing.
I decided to add some green to give it a more fresh tropical vibe. I am still on the hunt to add some more greenery. One of my favourite places to find faux plants is Ikea. They have a great selection at a very reasonable price! I have always loved using Pinterest for decor inspiration and I have a board for really every single room. I came across one photo of a washroom that I fell in love with from the moment that I saw it. In the bathtub, hanging on the shower-head is a bushel of dried eucalyptus. Ever since seeing that I have been on the hunt for some! If you know any places in the GTA that might sell it let me know in the comments below!
Storage for our washroom is pretty tight. So we have this four tier shelf from Ikea to house most of our products. I have grown to love our open storage, I am one who does not love clutter, I mean who does? This has helped me declutter my skin care products and really focus on keep the products that I love and work rather then just hoarding a bunch of different products that I found on sale at Shoppers.
I’m obsessed with everything organization so for under our sink, I got two bins from the dollar store (great for inexpensive organization!) to store all of our toiletries, cleaning supplies and other random items.
Let me know in the comments below if there are other areas of my apartment that you would like to see!
